Biologic Design was formed in 1993 with the aim of creating integrated, multi-species constructed wetlands for sustainable wastewater purification, biodiversity enhancement and resource production.

We are a family-run design company working with a wide range of clients and specialise in the creation of constructed wetlands, which we call Wetland Ecosystem Treatment or WET Systems.

We believe that WET Systems, developed by Biologic Design, are the most cost effective, energy efficient and sustainable wastewater purification systems available.

Many of the plants, as well as the many varieties of willow tree, which are used to create our wetlands are produced organically in our own wetland nursery, which is on land registered with the Soil Association.

Our clients are ecologically minded people and organisations, sustainable housing and low impact developments, off-grid dwellings, low input/organic farmers and food producers, as well as environmental, educational and Permaculture projects.

We design and create WET Systems which combine wastewater purification, resource production and enhanced biodiversity - WET Systems are not simple Horizontal or Vertical Flow Reedbeds.

Our WET Systems use soil as the purification medium, not gravel as do conventional Reedbed Treatment Systems.
